Nice!
I want so see more pics of the progress
Was it a straight fit or did you have to make any modifications?
BTW
Where did you get that OEM side skirt from?
And why did you replace it?
The side-skirt you listed on ebay doesn't look that bad...

Can anybody provide me a more detailed picture of the two fixing holes?
Or does anybody know the diameter of the holes/which drill bit needs to be used?
Do both holes have the same size?
The MK1 pods i have are slighty different at this position.
What size did you use kilazz?
The only useful picture i've found is from Carl's body-panel thread:
How are the mk2 pods fixed at this position?
Does the screw go completely through the first hole or not?
The screw goes completely through the first hole with second hole being smaller so you tighten it up against this and the metal captive nut bracket on the car.
Thanks russo.
I already finished my work on the side pods this evening.
They are ready for painting now.
Drilled the holes as they are supposed to be.
First hole in the size of the bolthead, second: threatsize.
Looked great and fitting of the pods is pretty good.
There is definately work involved with these replicas.
Cutting the fixing lugs and a lot of grinding was necessary to get a nice and even finish.
Kilazz 1st and 2nd picture shows what i mean.
They are worth the money and an amazing alternative to the massive overpriced oem pods.
And after some grinding
Will post some pictures as soon as they are painted
