preRS Clio Mk1 Clio RT - Panel Van - GTT

After four times the guy saying he was going to take some photos for me I actually just went and had a look at the car in person today as I happened to have a day off.

its rough as a badgers arse.

50k on the clock and three years sat doing nothing.

all the trims and window seals etc that would have been good for my valver are in the same shit shape. Which is annoying and would have made the buying all the more worthwhile.

the guy wanted £750 bucks!! i got him down as far as three hundred, the only thing that makes it remotely worth That money is the fact I can’t find any others.. I’m not sure what to do tbh.

I’ve asked on the GTT owners page if anybody’s got a GTT project they want to swap for my clio 16v, as another option for a chassis to use.

there’s also an extra van about 100 miles away but due to COVID I cant get any info or photos of it, that chase has been ongoing since March..

the older stuff really is getting thin on the ground. This is the first time I’ve really noticed!

Apologies for the delay boys...

At approximately 2pm this afternoon this was brought to my attention,

RT spec,
Mot till September,
44k on the clock,
15 miles from home,

Approximately 4pm it was home destickered, washed and wheels swapped. (Unfortunately I sold my last set of valver springs about 6 months ago)

(The gold centre lattice style wheels mentioned on page 1 have since been sold also so the old faithful tsw’s have had to come out)

the plan still stays largely the same, although because it’s got an mot it’s going to get used daily for the time being.
