This incredible Evo VI Tommi Makinen Edition came in for a well needed freshen up.
The car was imported from Japan as salvage with a valve dropped into one of the cylinders. Since the car was so clean underneath - it's actually white rather than just a rotten mess - the car was purchased at a reasonable price, engine rebuilt and given a new lease of life rather than stripped for parts.
The paintwork was the next thing on the check list... this is where detailing comes in.
The order of the detail...
Full safe wash and decontamination,
Major Enhancement Package - 2 Stage Machine Polish,
Derxler Ceramic coatings for the paintwork and wheels,
Engine Bay Detail,
Interior freshen up,
A few little bits tidied up along the way.
Onto the Evo

Someone else got there with a polisher first - you'll see more of this later.

And the reason these bits were polished first?
The owner popped along with some fresh stripes. What's a TME without the stripe kit?

He decided against the Ralliart and Mitsubishi Motors stickers, which I agreed with.
