Michellin vs Toyo

So it appears that Mk2 would be well shod in T1R's @ 215-40-18 and 245-40-18?
What do they run like in the wet? Can't be as bad as the PS2's.. Whats the wear rate like? I do a LOT of miles
Has anyone experienced the Falkkien FK452 at all?? I can get them now whereas the Toyo are on a bit of a lead....
 
Can only talk about Toyos on a Mk 1 .

Wera rate has been the same as the Michelines 12k rear, 24k front.

Road holding wet or dry has been acceptable.

Always remember short wheel base and engine in rear can bite your arse very quickly.
 
I run toyo on standard rims

front 225 x 35 x 18

rear 255 x 35 x 18

handling at speed, wet driving, grip in general is improved vastly over the hard michys....last as long if not longer.

No rubbing or added understeer form the wider fronts? What about tyres rolling off the rim and feathering the outside edge? 225 is pushing the hell out of a 7" rim....
