I've been ask to post some pics of damage caused to Vees owned mostly by country dwellers. 5 or 6 Vees this year in the workshop with this pest problem.

I'd say mice get into the car and do micey things. Similar was posted many moons ago by someone into over wintering their Vee.
 
I've been shitting myself since reading this thread, I've been all day stuffing rags in any holes in the garage, just in case !!!
 
Mice can get in a hole the size of a biro, so there's not much you can do to stop them where it's so open!!
