Megane MK1 (K7M Engine) Head Gasket

Hi,

Hope everyone is ok.

I need advice on Head Gasket set please.

Are head gasket sets and head bolts from eBay safe to use?
I usually use original Renault Parts, but they are way too expensive compared to the sets available on eBay.

I dont want to end up with a broken head bolt stuck inside the engine block.

ive used these on 3 occasions, once on f3p twice on e7j, had absolutely no problems

just find a seller who can supply you with Payen bits. Yes it will cost a handful of pounds more but do you really want to be doing the job again?

They all have issues in all honesty.

The hassle we have at work with gaskets is ridiculous. But we are engine builders so go through thousands.
