In the week I purchased a '96 Megane Coupe 2.0 16v F7R.
...However I only got one Key and as they are the infra red or RF ones I have a question...... The car has an alarm wether or not this is a renault one I do not know but it does use the standard renault plip key to open it (all the hazards flash and it makes a bleep) It is working fine no problems.
Now as i only got one key with the car ideally I would like another one. Have been looking around and on ebay I have found second hand plip keys which look identical to mine and new key blades which I can get cut to match my current key and locks. Now my final hurdle is getting this "replacement" plip key I purchase from ebay or wherever working with my car. I can remember a good few months reading a guide / FAQ on here regarding syncing keys but I cannot seem to find it. I really want to know wether it is possible on this car and if so how I would go about out. Also is there anything I need to look out for which I could screw up etc.
