Have a problem with Turbo and ordered from Turbo Developments. Great service, turned up in no time. My mech wont fit as it has water cooling port where original did not. Suppliers says no problem as it is exactly the same turbo apart from the water port. Any thoughts? I have no idea and would appreciate any input.

Ive ran many turbos over the years with the water cooling circuit disconnected with no issues. I would just get them to email to confirm what they have said so you have it in writing then go ahead and fit it it.

Id have no issues fitting it if it all bolts up the same.

Cheers for that, mech is worried but the more I look at it I see no problem. It is a perfect match but with openings for the water.

Running without water on a wet bearing turbo generally causes no issues, and chances are its a wet bearing.

If its a rollerbearing core, i would use the water.

Should be fine, but you could always tee it in to the water circuit if you wanted to. Get the vendor to confirm you can use it without in writing and you should be fine
