Wanted Looking for a 11 Turbo

For those of you who don't know me, I restored my £600 Renault 5 Raider back in 2006 to OE condition.

Since I completed that rebuild I've had an itch for an 11 Turbo for a while because I loved their rare/quirky factor so over a few mince pies during Christmas in
2011 I had a look around to see what was available. I initially found a LHD Silver Phase 2 in Italy which was in beautiful condition but:

• The whole logistics of buying the car
• Moving it back to the UK
• Insuring a LHD
• it's VERY high price (€4000)
• The fact that it would leave me nothing to actually create & rebuild

... knocked it on the head:

So I kept looking and found another couple of options, but they just didn't float my boat:

OPTION 1

There’s a black 11 Turbo, that seems to have had a really bad run lately of being bought & sold.

Have a read of the first post in this thread, it’s registration number is E596 YGJ.

Originally owned by TR member @martink, he sold it to @Matthew Rosier, who then sold it to a trader, who basically flipped it and it is now owned by a guy on Instagram called jason_gti. Looks like he’s fallen out of love with it already, and mentioned he’s going to sell it.

That one is the best condition one that’s about at the moment... I doubt its going to be ”fair priced” as you wish, but it’s complete and won’t need a big bucket of cash throwing at it.

OPTION 2

Another option for another black one is is Ireland and owned by @turboted
I know his plan is to rebuild it... but if you waved a few Euro’s under his nose, he may be tempted to part with it??

@Scoots I've just checked with Jason_gti and he is indeed selling it, and he’s still got it.

What it's worth, and what he paid for it are two very different things.... I think he would be looking for circa £5 - 7K for it...

Yes I’ve still got my 11, if you read thru my thread, you can see I’m rebuilding it.

Yes that’s my estimate on Jas’s car..

He's MSGd back he wants 10 k for it ino it looks mint but dose tht seem a lot to you how much is the Irish one so u no
