Long term storage...

Guys,

I'm considering my options here...

Are there any subsidiary batteries that feed off the main one? (I wondering whether there are "back-up" batteries for the tracker or the alarm)

Thanks in advance,

Kett

You can buy chargers which cycle the battery for long term storage and battery protection which may be most appropriate :-)

Kett, I have used CTEK battery conditioners for many years without a problem.

One has been in constant use for around 10 years now.

Yeah, the problem I've got is that I've been offered a lock-up with no power...
...so I was wondering whether I remove the battery and hook-up the trickle charger elsewhere.
I guess that the no-power option ain't good!

Was reading something like this the other day and they mentioned a solar powered trickle charger :approve:
Probably something like this LINK
