im planning on coming and the camera is charged, ill be in my focus on my todd so wont be able to take driving photos though!!

Hi Jon,

Had a quick chat with Dulan, I think the best option is to meet at the square.

It also gives me time to get there early and scope out the parking situation.

Hope this is fine, otherwise it was just the 3 of us meeting.

Sorry about the traffic warden at the end, nearly everyone got a clean get away except for peter who got caught!!! :evil:

Nas, I had just spotted you and was coming over when you all bombed off after the traffic warden came!
We had tried to wait for you at the start but the same guy was on our case about the parking.

Perhaps for 2014 I can find a different location and some sunny weather.

Loved the Alpha Dulan, thanks for bringing it down and to Duncan for coming in to take a few photos for us.

top marks to Matt for organising it. Result that you ended up doing a few laps of the square to get out as getting decent moving shots at dusk is very hard!!

No worries mate lost time first had to fill up was running low schoolboy error, and then took forever to get thru the lights when turning right at the Millenium Bridge. Then getting stuck in the lights round Trafalgar Square!! I was like a half a mile away and took forever!! I literally got to you guys 30secs before you shot off!! Then lost you all thru the lights again!! Good fun while it lasted!!

Good show Matt. Thanks for organising this. Sorry I did not get a chance to catch up with everyone before we had to leave St James' Square. Just got home after we decided to call it a day, after we got well and truly snarled up at Trafalgar Square, and lost you guys - decided to go out to dinner instead.

Great photos Duncan, as always. Didn't even get a chance to take my camera out of its case, so I have no record of this meet, but thanks for the shot of the Alfa SZ with the LY Vee. :approve:

Roll on next year's meet, but guess we need to find some where else to park up on arrival, and may be a late night run when traffic has died down?
