St James's Square in Mayfair, just off of Pallmall would be quiet on a Sunday. I think Gumball etc use it to meet.
The drive from there in to the city would be good and cover alot of sites of interest.
Just food for thought..
Charles 2nd street just down from Piccadilly Circus. Plenty of room for 10 or so cars waiting and its very quiet. Gives you the chance for some epic photos going past the tv's and back down to Trafalgar sq. Could then take a slow drive down The Mall up to Buckingham Palace, up to Hyde Park corner, up and back down Park Lane to take in the supercar sights of the Dorchester hotel, back down Picadilly heading for the Embankment opposite the Millenium wheel, up to Big Ben and around Paliament square to double back down Embankment, carry on to Tower Bridge, cross Tower Bridge, turn right up to Druid street and then immediate left into Roper lane. This will give you the opportunity to turn around and go back over Tower Bridge to then head on to Canary Warf.......breath......been a while since I last did it but there are always good photo opportunities on that route. I'd usually do it slightly different but it would be no good with a load of vee's following a leader. Just wish I could join.
I'd love to come, but the Vee is now SORN'ed! (hangs head in shame).
Tax ran out just before going on holiday, so I didn't bother renewing. Weather not amazing, so I've decided to leave it that way. I miss the Vee already, doh!
If its a problem for anyone let me know, I have looked at a few places as well as those above. Thanks for the help Brett and Peter, amazing suggestions.
St James Square is a lovely location, lots of space and we have waterloo place/ Charles 2nd street as a backup.
So everyone... The queen may join us, if you didn't know she is a big fan. :approve:
Easiest for me to travel straight down the A1. Be good to collect a few cars on the way. Can always swap and travel down M1 if that's the easiest way for others to get in to town.
Anyone coming from the west? (i live near the M3/M25 junction) Im happy to drive in, but if i can passenger with someone I will be able to get photos on the move!
