locking alram issue?

OK car has been fine since it was put in the garage after a run the other day.

Today I took it out and removed all engine covers and now when I press the remote to lock it does so.... but about 20 secs later it makes a constant beeping noise after which I expected the alarm to go off as if it hadn't set right. It kept this constant beeping for about 10 secs then just went off. The car is still locked and no alarm gone off.

Have I disturbed anything?

it normally does that when a door or bonnet/boot is not closed properly.

just thinking maybe a loose wire or bad connection?
on one of the little plastic plungers.

Yeah Im thinking that too, only it doesnt come on straight away

Takes upto 40 secs for the alarm to set which answers why its not beeping straight away.

Anyway all sorted now, dodgy bonnet sensor.
