Liquid yellow with 39k £15,900

Is that nevs old car?

Did nev ever sell his? That just seems to have a lot in common, I.E mileage, fresh rear tyres andnrefurbed wheels, yellow sticker in the centre on the back window....

Well you learn something every day lol,

That car was soooo nearly mine... Mileage put me off though [smilie=doubt.gif]

If i ever had a major issue with my clio i would never post it on here! I would even be dubious of asking a question...^Thats a fairly nasty prang!

I wonder if the current owner is even aware of the history?
If it was an accident on a trackday chances are the damage / repairs were never reported to the insurance company & it probably comes up as hpi clear on reports.

This is why I love V6clio.net :)

i documented the smash and repair of my old black gold on here and on cliosport,

people could see it was a very minor front end (purely bumper, wing and headlight)

they saw pics of the brand new unpainted bumper and wing (genuine) sitting primered in my living room, and how well the repairs were carried out

it didnt go through insurance and isnt CAT anything, still got 18k for it on trade in :approve:

And now Nev doesn't own it anynmore ...

I seem to recall that Nev and I met the friend of the previous owner (or so he said) at Pickering N Yorks modified a few years back. As I understand it this was before Nev knew what the history was. It came as a surprise to us I think to be told the story of the accident though I can't remember the exact details ... The repair looked good though from what I recall.

You do pay a hella lot more money for a car that is just a different colour, it would appear. I wonder if it would only really appeal to the already converted Vee fans.

Must say though, it is a rather special version of yellow. Some of the pics I've seen I would actually bugger. Dry!

Browsing through Neville's post history, I see he did not keep the accident damage a secret on our forum, nor did the previous owner "Rick" who had posted on other car forums about the incident including the pictures.

Neville was even mature enough to carefully show us pictures when a fox made a right mess of his Vee.

Information posted and recorded on our forum will remain to serve as a great benefit to potential buyers/club members.

It is remarkable, you can get a straight Phase 2 in Titanium with 5,000 on the clock for about the same money that he's asking for this.
