Liquid Yellow Awesomeness!

Bloody hell the Ph 1 had just had four figures spent on it before you got it!¬!

It's sat in a dusty garage since March last year! I couldn't treat the Liquid yellow and leave the Ph1 out! :-)

Primrose is a stunning colour, I've always fancied a DB4 in that colour...one day!

What is the Jag, an E-Type? I may have someone for it. Could you pm me some details of it please.

It's a '72 S3 V12, all original panels, never been welded and never had an accident. CMC, the E Type specialist in Shropshire, went through it front to back a couple of years ago, so now she purrs. Trouble is I prefer driving the Vee!

Here is the Vee - E - Vee sandwich...apologies for the rubbish photo, but it was dark this morning! I've often thought about detailing the engine bay, but it just gets a spray of WD40 and a wipe over to keep it clean. Dawn would have a field day (or week) under that bonnet!

Doesn't the E Type look small compared to the Vee??!!

I will PM you some info, but the bloke who came to see it has first dibs. I expect your mate wants an S1, as most do. They are fine if you're under 5ft 10 inches tall!

Looks amazing, there is a guy on Pistonheads that ordered a new Exige V6 in liquid yellow, it also looked fantastic, just shows the appreciation goes on beyond the Renault fraternity.

I've been putting some serious hours into my blue car, its sooooo time consuming. Well done Dawn

I still find it amazing only 18 UK cars were specified with it and 5 of those I ordered !! ( 2 company cars and 3 Press cars)

having chatted with the List Master David T I realise I ordered 8 of these LY.!
2 company cars [v6plaque]305[/v6plaque] and [v6plaque]321[/v6plaque].
2 Press cars [v6plaque]313[/v6plaque] and also if I remember correctly [v6plaque]310[/v6plaque] which was not known on the register as originally a Press car
and the 4 Safety cars.

Blue was the Press car and advertising colour and also for the first year only blue, mars red and titanium were available and as most of the ph1 were silver most people ordered blue as it looks great.
Black gold was then introduced in spring 2004 along with the first three i.d. colour acid yellow, lunar grey and deep bronze then finally in October 2004, liquid yellow and petrol blue i.d. colours were introduced. the i'd colours cost at least £1,100 hence the rarity.
also inferno and moonlight standard metallic.
