Howdi doodi guys....

Been a busy bee tonight and taking full advantage of the brief spell of sunshine we had today, I decided to clean and polish the Vee...!!

I cleaned the car off with autoglym bodywork shampoo first, followed by autoglym SRP using an SFX2 pad on the PC - came up an absolute dream Going to do the proper stint using the PC for RWS - so this is just a trial run really....

Here's the pics, I'll let you make your own minds up - but I reckon it's a proper shiny Vee now...can't stop looking at it..!! :wink: Looks stunning..!!!

(and for those amongst you who are especially observant, maybe you can spot a 'new' addition to the Vee..?!! prizes for the first out of the hat..!! :lol: )

Very nice kiddo! - Mines about to go through a 3 day paint detail! I'm doing a Wiki and Vid on how to PC, But judgin on the shine you've got there, i doubt you need it!

Hope you taped up the plastics, SRP is nasty to get off plastic!

Hey Ali,

Sounds like a great idea to do a vid and a WIKI entry for the PC'g.!

Believe me, there are lots of people out there who haven't got a clue how to use one and don't actually realise that they can be as damaging to the paintwork if used incorrectly as they are beneficial.

I didn't actually mask the plastic :shock: I have a careful and steady hand..! :lol: But in reality, I didn't actually do a full PC job, just applied the SRP with it...still came up ace though..!!

Yeh i bet! Nearly as much as i'm lookin forward to driving the car!!! lol!
I've picked out all my locations for photo's too! Exciting or sad...Not quite sure!

SFX2 bein the white pad aye? I'm using the edge pads from chemical guys, slightly smaller, and double sided which is great as it stops the pad getting clogged up.

Mmmm...yes Matt, it will be 'seats' hopefully when I see you next, just need to whip my little pack-mule into shape and get him into the fabrication shed for the next few nights to construct the subframe for the drivers side...!!! :lol: :lol: [smilie=icon_snigger.gif]

No seriously though, Martin's done a brilliant job on the subframe so far and the passenger side installation - I'm over the moon with it ...If I carry on being my usual cheeky self, he might just leave it so I only ever have one seat in too..!!! :lol: So, I'll shut up now and behave..!! :lol:
