Lightweight bits...

Just been to http://www.smdracing.co.uk/ to collect lightweight doors for the v6. Also came back with a lightweigh tailgate.

Nice quality and if you're fitting plastic windows they'll make that very easy. Each door is about 8kg so should save around 10kg per side which is a worthwhile saving (like throwing 48 bags of sugar out of the window).

Yes, I'm easily tempted. They had Mk II trophy spoilers as well (the Super 1600 style ones).

Oh and then there was the rarer than a rare thing hidden under a cover with a 700+ hp v8 engine in it. Designed for the GT race class against such things as the Maclaren F1 and one of less than 10 that were ever road registered.
