Still cost a lot to put right though. This would now be a Cat D????? All I ever hear and see about these days are smashed up Vees...which is good as it increases the value of mine!
Although damge looks light i think its gone in sideways and you could be looking at damage to subframes or other suspesion damage as well, rear wheel looks a bit out to me, worth £5K to £6K i estimate but less if both subframes have been bent also B post may need a pull out too.
It will get repaired so make a note of the number 161
I thought it looked like a side scrape down a building or tight squeeze past a lorry etc. The rear quarter damage shouted to me like the side-pod was caught/hooked and basically ripped off, causing the messy look and exposed parts - I didn't think the damage looked that bad and reckon it could be 'bodged' up with some FG work to turn this car into a cheap track-car perhaps, or to bide the time to do a proper job ...
