Lancer Evolution Wagon

This was another cool one (for me anyway) so I hope you can appreciate it.
This Evo Wagon is one of 2,500 made and boasts huge Alcon brakes, Ohlins suspension, a few other trick goodies... and 400bhp.

The car was to be shown on the Rota Wheels stand at Jap Fest so needed a little tidying up.

Wheels tyres and arches cleaned using Auto Finesse Imperial, Verso and a variety of brushes.



Embedded brake dust taken car of with Iron Out.





All the intricate areas were cleaned using verso and detailing brushes.

Pre-washed before it's 2 bucket wash using Lather.



Decontamination was undertaken using Iron Out, Tardis and Bilt Hamber clay before being rewashed and dried.



Taken inside for inspection.







50/50 on the bonnet.



The results were good after the initial polishing stages. Still to be refined.











The interior had a once over. it wasn't due to be done but I felt it deserved some attention.
All surfaces cleaned with Auto Finesse Total.

2 layers of Spirit were applied for protection.
Glass polished and cleaned using Auto Glym and AF Crystal.
Tyres dressed with Meguiar's.
Wheels sealed with G|techniq C1.5 and mint Rims.
Exhaust polished with Mercury.
Rubbers and plastics dressed with Revive.

There was a white converted one at Anglesea last time I was there and I liked it for some reason.....they are not exactly a looker in saloon lol

100% agree. I think the evo wagon really "gets away with" the rear end.

They're one of Mitsubishi's rarely talked about cars. Only being available and not having the same rally car spoiler made them often overlooked when it came to importing.

I agree on the Stagea, such a cool car. Especially when people put an R34 front on them!
