Help needed to solve a hopefully minor problem i hope, i noticed a while ago that occationally if i put my foot down, usually from stopped position there woulkd be no response like a dying thing take the foot of and down again (a bit slower) and back to normal, i spoke to a few people and they agreed prob need a good run as winterized, but seems to be happening more often and a bit of popping and spluttering now, seems alright on long runs but as i said if i was to pull away and but my foot down it can just almost dye, whats up !!!

I searched the forum and only came up with a few regular comments, dirty air filter causing this. Also happens to people who don't use the car much. Many have said the cols give problems when the car isn't run often.
 
Must admit airfilter may need changing, but put some of the special X in with the fuel the other day and seems fine now ? strange
