kw coilovers

My Ohlins shocks are getting nearer to completion.
I have gone for 2 way adjustable with remote canisters and titanium springs.
Will post some pics in a couple of weeks [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Cost aside, the KW's are great additions to the Vee; both as an improvement to handling but also in the stance department. You're making the right move!

Its not something im particularly looking into anymore,

the more i think about it, the cost per mile that my car actually covers in a year renders spending £1500 on suspension completely pointless, and will more than cover its second cambelt change next august :approve:

also...im ploughing money into suspension for the twingo, which i can enjoy every day and get the benefit from :)

I suppose you have a point! Will let you have a drive of mine some point, judge its worth then!)

is that when we meet up for this pint sometime never???

will have to get something sorted like matey...not seen you since about 2008 lol, and your standard seats are still gathering dust at my house!!!! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

lol! Ahem, yes! i'm down to Newcastle at some point soon so i'll pop in for a coffee then! Then the lakes meet! No doubt catch you then!

not mentioned here in this topic - but maybe worthwhile, before spending the money on a coilover, first have a look at the joints and other items of the suspension. A couple on the forum- i.e. Ali - recognised over the years the rubbers and (top) mounts aren't that fresh and are worn - will have a massive (negative) impact on the road holding.
If not done already: have a close look to your suspension items like arms, joints, bearing, top mounts first. Replace what is needed and then do an upgrade.

is there any news of H&R ?

Hello Mr. Graham,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Usually we do not produce these coil overs anymore but we will check again in January
if we can do these again.
We need to wait for some spare part supplier info which we can only get in January as they are on
Winter-Holiday already.

But I will come back to you as soon as I have all info then.

Until then I wish you a merry Christmas and all the best for the new year.

Best regards
H&R Spezialfedern
Yvonne Menzebach
