Cheers guys! I'm very happy with the Janspeed set up on my car. Its the full Janspeed sports cat system, bought second hand from Bill Pitchfork, and fitted by Scott whilst the engine was out having cam belts done. Like Ali, I dont like the standard tips on the Janspeed, Si also had them changed to his taste but not mine. So, I had the back box away and back to Janspeed for the same size tail pipe as standard, inward rolled and square cut. I'm told it sounds great.. but I can only hear the sound from infront of the engine, and not the full effect from behind. :rollseyes:
I had a QS sport back box on my Black Gold vee, and it boomed inside the car quite badly in comparison to even the full Janspeed! I didnt really notice it was that bad at the time, as it was on the car when I bought it. I wasnt unbearable, and at the time, I quite liked it. The Janspeed however, is in a different league. Plenty of bark when the gas is on.. and yet very subtle when driving normally. Win - win!
Do Janspeed still make the systems as sold and badged as KTec?
