I hate to let every one down and am gutted i wont be part of the big get together. please take lots of pics!!! hope to catch up with you soon .
Sorry to hear that Jim [smilie=icon_cry.gif] I don't no what else to say - I can only say sorry to hear that - it's a nasty thing to have ! I'm sure we ALL sympathize with you !
I don't want to make this or my addition to this thread make Jim's position unthought of but I just wanted to say I will be donating a car cover to the club (it was with the car when I bought it from Geoff) I have no idea what it is - it's VERY SOFT I don't think it is "tailored" but a great garage cover , may be better than that but I have no idea, unused as far as I can tell but I won't be using it so it would be nice for someone who will to make a donation to club if they pick it up tomorrow [smilie=yay.gif]
Hi chaps, been away from the internet. Not too much interest in the drive up there so I guess we'll all meet up at kimbolton. I'm sure that's no major let down. Have a safe journey you lot and I'll see you all in a few hours :approve:
I'm home now - really sorry I left early but early start tomorrow I didn't want to get stuck in mud and traffic trying to get out of there  I kept myself to myself as I usually do ( I oppologise for that ) but I did meet James , Russell, mossy etc [smilie=yay.gif] ( I'm terrible with names !!) Sorry ! But I was well impressed with it ! Sooooooooo many types of cars and I was in awe of our Vee's ! A few missing but things change for all of us ! It was a 1st for me even though I'm a bit of a car nut. I like to keep myself hidden I oppologise for that but it's me I will end by saying I'm really glad I went ,it was an experience for me just wish I was more sociable ! Thank you all anyway :approve:
Oh - I hope someone wanted my cover ! Oh and I was gonna ask Dawn but I couldn't ! What and how do you get your grills soooo black ! Mine look grey ish have yours been sprayed (painted) ? Oh I wish I could approach people !!! Ahhhhhhhhh !
Thanks to all those involved in organising today. Very enjoyable day and great to meet plenty of enthusiastic owners. Glad the weather was nearly on our side as well!
Hi Dan. Your car looked superb ! You were 3 up from me yes - hell of a set up - my mate is gonna recommend it to a few of his mates for next year ! Such a selection of cars - Vee section the best today obviously !! The TVR sabura (I think ) was awesome ! I followed it out - wow !
A huge thank you to everyone for getting there from near and very far, especially Craigy who I know was a wee bit nervous of the long drive. :approve: The donated car cover was snapped up swiftly
Another cheers to Jeremy at Renault for sharing the heritage Vees with us, Andy and his good lady did a grand job with making them smart and tidy on display.
I am always mindful that great events are sucessful due to the hard work by the club team guys, the grafters are very much appreciated.
A special mention must go to Ed and Mrs Ed for organising our wee club shop, sorting all that out with their hands full of the beautiful Annabelle, and what about the CAKE! which everyone absolutely loved, it was indeed very, and not a crumb was left. [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]
Thank you all for making our v6clio.net 10th year celebration a day I will cherish for ever.
