K-Tek top mount problems

Spoken to K-tek today to order some solid top mounts, the guy i spoke with said not to buy the current one they sell due to the thread stripping/stretched when being tightend. Anyone had this happen?

There improved/updated item should be available by the end of the month at the same price.

I hope they are replacing the old one for people foc, as if thats the case then it cant be fit for purpose naughty.
