K-tec V's QS Sport?

I appreciate this has been discussed on several occasions in various threads but wanted to bring the following dilemmas together:

Is the K-tec quieter than the QS sport or is it vice versa?
Also if I wanted to upgrade in the future with headers etc is this possible with both the QS and also K-tec? also which gives the best (if any) performance gains without putting on the emissions lights etc? (i.e it will pass an MOT without having to cock around changing sections of the exhaust come MOT time)

Also where is the best place to buy from re price?

K-tec is considerably quieter. The sound of the k-tec is better than standard.

The QS is loud. I found it unbearable as a daily driver (but depends on how you use your car) the sound is awesome of the QS out of the car. I.e passer by. Popping and crackle on the overrun.

As regards the headers, i am aware of Janspeed making them as a full system. The emissions light comes on but the emissions are apparantley the right side of the legal to pass. (Im hoping so cus iv got that system!!!)

Scott @ SG motorsport is deveolping a system at the mo using standard cats but different headers. So it may pay you to give him a call and have a chat to him about that.

Id say thats my system. But it has the sports cats so hopefully when it comes to MOT time i will be the right side of the legal.

The torque from the headers s really noticable at low revs, pulling away. :D
