There's now only 15 vee's for sale on pistonheads and the prices are not excruciatingly low. I thought out of interest, we could all put our own vee's on there at a price we would actually want to sell the car for (not what we'd realistically get), we could also write our little description on our vee's saying why they're so special to us.... could be very interesting and funny reading!

What do you think? Anyone up for this?

*edit* only 10 vee's for sale... the others have been sold or are not vee's lol.

Hahahaha That would be quite funny. Might put mine is fitted with a 1.2 dynamic engine in the rear and has uprated 1.6 brake calipers upfront......mind you I'm selling mine for real so better not

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Somebody will want mine and I might not be able to back out of the sale lol

£50K any day ;)

DId you not know I was? and I forgot to mention they made a mistake with my car number, it's definitely number 360 ;)

Lowest amount of V's I've seen for a long time....... As previously said, ideal opportunity for sellers to price them where they deserve.

Yea I noticed this the other day - quite nice really that its now like that. There was a point last year when there was loads advetised.
Power is back in the sellers ball court.

Brilliant Ad................ And now is the time for us to take advantage and establish some realistic prices for what is both a rare and collectable car. :approve: :approve: :approve:

Deffo guys, if we the owners don't push the prices up, who will??? You need to act now if you want YOUR car to be worth more. It's really that simple! People who are then buying V6's won't be able to put lower offers on the lower price V6's since they will already be incredibly low "no offers sorry, have you seen the price of the other v6's?". This will ensure prices don't drop and people who realistically want to sell their vee will be able to do so for a higher amount.

This discussion has been had many times ... sellers may be able to influence the market but buyers also have an influence via supply and demand mechanisms, not to mention the fact some buyers just need to sell ... you have to test the market I guess like house sellers do, if there are no buyers at a higher price, then you drop it or remove it from the market ... it's cool by me for people to try and maintain higher prices if I ever come to sell :approve:

I care about the resale values for those interested or intending to sell, so this idea of pricing is never a bad suggestion. Personally I feel my Vee will be passed on to someone or scrapped due to old age. (either of us)

I dare say it will fetch a £1K at some point in the future, I hope that can go to a favourite charity.

I totally agree with Martin here. There will always be someone else who comes along and drops the price. You cant interfere with free markets! Nice idea though.
