Just about to install de-cat pipes

Got the two pipes this morning. Taking them to be fitted on Tuesday morning.

As far as I can work out the only downside is the SERV light stays on on the dashboard (to which MikeT has given me a simple solution for :) )

Any one else have these fitted? What can I expect and is there anything else I should know or do before or while fitting them?

I wish I did. It will be a case of putting the cats back for the test and then off again when the certificate is done. That's what I did with the Elise.

i can get speacial mot if interested

and i got de cats and when that light comes on and just a matter of taking the bulb out your car just wont run as good im yet to solve this problem

ooo very nice but thats the enginemanagment light and when thats on the enigine dont run as good

My light came on because my ecu had been removed altogether !! I have a Motec running the show and the car seems to go quite well.

Where did you get the decat pipes?

The Decat pipes came from me originally and they are the standard Renault pipes with the cats removed and a straight through section welded in in place. At some expense.
