JT's old Black Gold on Pistonheads

First registered on the 18/03/2004. Reg number HN04 GFE

No plaque number in the car, a common thing with ex-RUK cars it seems.

Looks very good value to me. Factor in £1200 or so for cambelt and new clutch and the jobs a goodun! Great advert

Is it off putting not having a plaque number?

No, its known the car doesn't have it due to its history with Renault UK. Enough history with the plate, seems a very cheap price . . . cue the Europeans with their wallets!

why don't Renault uk cars have a plaque

it seem a steal to me its cat D money

The vast majority did have plaque numbers John. Just a few that slipped through, 4 to date I think. All of which can be traced back to new, with no plaque. 8)

Here's one that was ragged within an inch of it's life...

Hard life. or just been driven spiritedly on a circuit rather than the road like many others..? I wouldnt be too hastey discrediting this car... I'd certainly be taking a look at it if I was in the market for one, on a low budget. 8)

thanks are they not worth as much as one with a tag on it

Worth just as much as any other car in my opinion John. Their history can be traced back to RUK not having one, so no problem I'd say. However, if another privately bought car should 'lose' its plaque, or get given one from another car... I would think it might have the potential to put some buyers off. Just my thoughts... :primer:
