J-Engine Short Shifter

hey guys,
i m contacting this japanese french specialist about their mk1 short shifter, they also have lots of other goodies for the vee
he said this is not a full short shifter, it requires to mod our own shifter for it
he sent me some pictures and said i need a garage to do it
can you guys check and see the picture and see which part was altered? i m just going to purchase it and send it to my mechanic to install it

they also have this nice shift knob for sale too

they are saying it shorten the stroke for about 20%, so i guess it will be quite an improvement

Mark Fish in Harlow has a off the shelf mod such as this and has fitted to a few of our cars here. Mine had it from the time I bought it so I assumed they were all this short!
