Isle of Wight

Just had a lovely long weekend there with the missus and 2 kids.

Having a quick cruise around the island and I was shocked to see a beautiful illiad 255 coming down a hill towards me.

Young guy driving, late 20's I reckon.

Had a strange plate, so might have been born in the Isle of Wight, perhaps.

Anyways, got me so excited. I was pointing the spot out to the missus for the next two days 'look, that's where we saw the Vee t'other day', haha.

It was a superb reminder of how special our cars look though.

Actually, thinking about it - IOW has the same license plates as mainland UK. So yeah, plates were very probably French.

Seeing the illiad has really got me thinking actually.

I know it was a long time ago but you are right it is on a french plate because the guy has a villa in France and that's we're he has registered it.it must be his son driving it because he is late 50s lovely guy uses it all the time [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]
