Is it me or Clio V6s getting cheap again ?

The £6250 is a Cat D and the £6800 is a Cat C (see my other post in this forum). £6250 is maybe about right for a Cat D but the Cat C cant be worth more than, say, £4k?
Like Spike says you pay for what you get! Good Ph2 cars that i am looking at are twice that.

If this is correct, yes there are some cheap ones around ;

I'm about to start some building work at home, so money is thin on the ground at the moment.
Otherwise I'd be driving up there this weekend to look at this one.

This advert is a scam!! This car is back for sale @West Sussex specialist cars and has been for a month ot two.

[James - i thought that i had sent an update on the register for this ??- Colin]

well ive just paid £8k for my mk1 vee and i thought that was cheap because of the excellent condition its in and full service history.

Looking at piston heads etc etc, all the ph1's are going for the same as what I paid for mine a few years back with the same milage. Not bad at all considering times weren't so bad when I got mine.

i dont think the prices are getting cheap.

its still 7-10k for a good phase 1 & 13-17k for a good ph2.

the odd cheaper example pops up and, the odd more expensive example pops up, but nothing seems to of changed in the last 2-3 years.

I thought it seemed too good to be true!

As far as Phase 2 values go here is a classic example.....

Unless I have missed something somewhere, a real missed opportunity for someone if ever there was one.....

A 2005 Black Gold Phase 2. Recently advertised, and SOLD, via Pistonheads for £13,250 (or less), and then.....

It re-appears on Pistonheads (even before the previous SOLD advert has been removed) with an asking price of £15,500, with 500 miles less than previously advertised!

I think I know the car your referring too, is it the one with the cream leather seats? I have a feeling that car wasn't sold via the original advert and the owner decided to have a punt via the dealers instead on a 'Sale Or Return' basis. It was for sale back in May when I was looking and I think it was on for £16k then.

That is the car (#251, with the "Touch" pack). I thought it would have been a cracking buy at £13,250.....

That's th one that I emailed WSC about, offering my Vee as a part/ex and they didn't even reply. Would of thought they would have asked for a deal well to their advantage at the very least.

They obviously like it sitting on their forecourt.

The seller Matthew Gibbs has emailed a few interested and told them it's Cat C.
