Ipod/Archos AV500 using it with a Mk1

Does anyone know if i will be able to use my Archos AV500 on my standard Mk1 head unit? suppose its similar to a ipod? the normal way to connect it up to a stereo system is using the pod outputs (red and white jack plugs) and pluging them into the aux in on a stereo :s
Without asking somone here, to take the head unit out to see whats behind it re----a aux in i havnt a clue :s i.e. is there two aux in plugs_____________________or should i go out in the sales and buy a more modern head unit? if so any recomendations, ALPINE seems to get mentioned.

Thanks

Aimy, unfortunately there are no RCA inputs on the back of the unit however, I know Autoleads produce a lead that plugs in where the multi changer plugs in at the back of the headunit, this enables you to use an ipod and still use the steering wheel stork to change tracks not sure it will work on your Archos as its the conection at the bottom of the ipod.

Try the link but looks like this plugs in the arial input so may lose radio
