Insurance renewal...

New Member
Elephant sent in their renewal to me for end of june at £964.

Went online to get a new quote and it showed £709 !!!!!

So will be not renewing on 1st July and then taking out a new policy at the revised price! Muppets

31, Fully Comp, 7 years no claims protected, wife as a named driver, garaged, immobiliser, 9000 miles per year. £250 excess.

Just go and get the policy from Admiral ... will be within pennies of the new online quote you got from Elephant, since they're the same company. Basically you can jump between Admiral group companies every year and keep benefiting from new customer prices ;).

Norwich Union came up trumps for me last time, going to re-new with them again. Best by far... :D

Jainy.........dont talk to me about Norwich Union :( .........even though Carmen works there!! [smilie=hide.gif]

Last years insurance was with NU and i got a great deal of about £620 :D

When i came to renew it in March it had rocketed upto £1100 :(

To say i was fuming [smilie=evil.gif] was an understatment!!! I got on the Indian hotline and
politely(lol) asked what the hell was happening?? They said it was just the nature of the product
and there was nothing they could do!!!

I then spent 4 hours on the pc/phone and eventually Admiral quoted me £600 :D

Rant over!!! :approve:

PS. Even Carmen couldnt work her magic with it :(
