Inlet plenum

New Member
I have a phase 1 vee.
Now i want to change the inlet plenum of it.
Is it possible to change it with a plenum of a trophy? I know they are completely different. But can you get it working properly without changing things.
Or better to look for a phase 2 plenum?

I've read the trophy plenum is a big task.

Quite a few with phase 2 plenums have been done, I haven't heard of many major issues with this mod. (Search forum for "plenum spacer")

Yes, it is possible to fit the trophy inlet to a Ph1 and it has been done by an owner from Europe. But we have no more information how he fitted them or how well they run.

I'm also in the process of fitting the trophy inlets to my 'project' ;)

I can tell you it's not just a bolt on the inlets as the trophy heads are a different angle from the road engines so the lower inlets will not fit. The way I'm approaching the problem is to modify a set of Ph1 lower inlets and added a spacer to change the inner profiles to match the trophy uppers and bolt holes for fixing. See photos,

Then we'll have to think about fuel injectors and air box!!! Work in progress :approve:
