Inertia switch Clio v6

Hi, I believe my inertia switch may be faulty, I’ve heard people say you can bridge the contacts to bypass the switch. It has four wires going to the plug, do I connect the two main wires or do I connect the two thinner wires too

Just get one off another car to test , loads of cars from that era have them .
