Increasing car Insurance?

I've heard a few people now having had insurance renewals nearly doubled! Has anyone had their Vee renewal through recently?

Comparison sites were telling me £1100 per year for my one FC with mods declared.

Unfortunately insurance premiums have increased considerably over the last 12 months. The rise in insurance premium taxed hasn't helped either.
