a bit twitchy this week :( as my car is at my local renault dealer, having a small service and they are set with the task of trying to sort the problem out with the wishbone bushes and the knocking from the rear of the car which i think may be the sub frame loose again.

droped it off on monday and hope to see her again on friday as i'm away on work. 8)

noted the milage and reset the compter so will see if it's been joy riding around the town late at night...lol

Might be the lower rear mount that goes between the engine and subframe its mounted to the drive shaft guide bracket.

There propper crap, chances are if its been knocking for a while might also have a knackard gearbox mount to, thats what I found was causing mine to knock.

Cheer's simon. I've tried sub frame but still was knocking so I'll speak to reno in morning and see if that's what's causing it. Cheer's

renault carried out a modification to the top bearing on the front suspension. not entirely sure what they've done but will find out tomorrow

Right. Got the car back today. Really happy with the result's the knocking has gone from the rear. Sub frame had became loose. Front steering now doesn't knock on full lock. And all that done inc service with oil and filter's 89 pound. :) :) car had gained 2miles from their test drive and i'm happy with it. They was asked to keep car inside over night and i sent the spies round one night and there it was all tucked up in the workshop. :) :)

Sounds like a good result, glad you're happy. They sound better than the Renault dealers round my way!
