Ha! Good spot - this was us (was with the white Focus RS) heading home after a couple of days at The 'Ring a few weeks back.

We had booked a stage 2 Suzuki Swift from Rent4Ring to tackle the Nordschliefe on an open to all tourist day, which was an unbelievable experience. We both decided there and then that our own cars were not going to lap the Nordschliefe but what about the Grand Prix circuit...

I was at the ring 14 june, last week. there is no way i would have took my clio round, its just too fast, too dangerous and too expensive if you have an off! i did blag a ride round as a passenger though and well worth the experience.

I get what you are saying and did give it plenty of thought. Ultimately, had plenty of fun in the (insured) Swift so did not feel I missed out not tackling it in the (uninsured) V6. If I had more laps under my belt I'd have seriously considered it although perhaps on a dedicated track session as opposed to the open tourist day.

It was a long way, but at least I did bring it home
