Possible bargain Clio V6 255 available. by K-tec Racing Ltd
We currently have a Clio V6 255 in stock which needs a little bit of work to make it a very tidy car, it has had 5 owners (very common for V6 models to have a few onwers). At the moment we need to move it on to make way for some new Clio and Megane stock. This car has covered 36,000 miles, has a full service history but it is due a service and belt change. It has a slightly melted steering wheel (we have a fully trimmed one coming in in January), it has crack along the top of the rear arch just under the rear side window and has a crack in the near side lower skirt. The wheels are all good, tyres are good and the rest of the bodywork is fine. If we keep hold of it we will have this work done and we would expect to retail the car for over £20,000. We would be happy to let the car go for £16,500 as it is or for £17,750 with the belts, water pump and full service carried out. If this is of any interest please contact us at [email protected]

I think this was up for sale on eBay few weeks back, winning bid was £17000. Forum member owns it. Plaque number 009.

Looks like I had a bargain with mine if they want over £20000 all done. [smilie=yay.gif]

How very very strange, this was the car i sold to Ktec just last week.

The side skirt crack certainly wasnt on it when it left me, so they must have done this loading it onto or off the low loader they collected it on (he drove onto it flat out and it bottomed out on the ramp).

I wonder why they are selling it for such a low price, their aim was to fix crack and wheel and do service and sell on for more £££.

Side skirt cracks are commonplace as the Vee is notoriously fiddly to jack.
They are difficult to spot unless underneath.

Some members have mooted fashioning a bespoke Vee attachment for a jack, which I would happily purchase. I leave these considerations to the engineering gods amongst us.
: )

I was underneeth it 2 days before they collected it, trying to find a place to jack it up lol, ended up doing it on the subframe, so it certainly wasnt there when it left me.

I didnt say the price on purpose, sold in good faith and not my place to say on a public forum.

Fair enough, it's just that's what it went for on eBay and they are now advertising it for £16500, which I found odd.

It seems strange why they are looking to sell for less than they bought it for? More work needed than they thought?
