I dont know why they didn't make more of a spectacle of the engine, after all it's a V6 in a hatchback, something of a discussion piece. Once the outer and inner covers are off it's a bit of a let down, tbh the rover v8 in my landy looks more impressive mostly due to seeing the massive alloy rocker covers.
 
Couldn't agree more, the MK2 engine is particularly dull to look at, I dont know why anyone wants to show it off with perspex covers.

Next to nothing but its far from a straight fit. A fair few other things need fabricating/adapting to allow the fitment not to mention a remap or a aftermarket management.
 
Its a shame they aren't an easy swap really as they would make a nice alternative to the usuall ITB's. Though I do suspect ITB's would make more power. I recently offered one up to an early non vvc V6 and still no joy as the ports were round as opposed to rectangular.
