Indeed, very cool! :approve:

What exactly is the make and model? Pre-war?

1935 Lagonda - 4.5 litre - prewar ''super car'' - so, in its way, as bonkers as the Clio....

[bloody fast too]

When I was a kid - one of my neighbours spent all his time 'toiling away' rebuilding said Lagonda.
It was slow progress and I never did find out whether he completed the project.
Lovely to see yours!

If you know the registration number I will check? Or, possibly, the location back then.....

I can't tell you the reg as it literally was down to component parts.

The chap was called Dave Bessant? Bescent?
This was 1982 in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan (Cardiff commuter-belt region)

ah yes --- well, well - how amazing - he had 4 Lagondas - I bought the LOT from his estate after he died in 2000 [my pictured red car was NOT one of those though - I have owned this particular car for 30+ years]
