Ian's Vee

VII Car Care

New Member
Was great to meet a fellow bg owner from this area & to top it he's a lovely guy! Great to finally meet you Ian! :approve:

We have decided to bring her back in the summer for a weekend of correction & pampering. For some reason, she seems blacker than mine!?

Same process as James' vee, ONR, Britemax glaze & wax :approve:

cheers guys, she really needs claying & correcting. Can't wait to clean her up propery.

nothing Matt, lol. Ian resprayed it & the surround part, awesome job!

Can you give my knob a good going over Dawn?

Vee looks nicer and shinier than mine. We have a contest going now LOL

Yea Dawn did a fantastic job... and she says it could be better with more time!

Truth is my vee has never been polished in 8 years as I can't do it myself. Dawns help was very welcomed. I think the car is cleaner than when i first collected it from the showroom when it was brand new!

Oh and the shine on my knob is all my own work. If you look closely there is a small black switch drilled into the front of the knob- this is to operate the clutch. when the disabled adaption control company fitted it they marked the knob and in time I also scratched it getting my wheelchair in. So I decided to spray it along with the suede gater surround part (the bit with the 6 allen key bolts in). I had also marked the handbrake so replaced that with a 182 lever. Not bad for a bloke paralysed from the chest with some limitation in hand function... even if I do say so myself!

Cheers again for your help Dawn - you're fab!
