I thought Chris Harris hated the Vee

No he loved it! He ran one for a year from new. Read his old autocar reviews, they are great reading and very flattering of the car.

As we know CH is a proper 'car guy', with good 'car sense', but in case you haven't seen it here is an insight into what switches him on, and how he views the cars he owns, which was a first for me:

No mention of the Phase 2 Vee he ran as a long-termer, but, as Duncan says, he did like it...very much.

I found the 'chat' rather interesting, but rather horrified to see a GT3 Touring get such a state! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

I remember reading his Autocar articles too and he was a big fan. I have tried to find online his article - "You diss my car, you dis me" which was all about the Vee and defending it from people wrongly labelling it slow, heavy, poor handling etc.
