Over on http://www.clio16valver.co.uk they run a "photo of the month competition" and i thought it would be a good idea to have something similar running on here.
The vee is such a beautiful ikon that it make's sense to have a media competition of such a true legend of a car. The winner would obviously gain the crown and a small prize (v6clio.net sticker, for example),but its the taking part and the viewing of other people cars/pictures that would make it very involving for everyone.
Basically it is a 3 stage set up as follows:
1. Picture of the Month Entries (April for example) to be started on the 5th of each month and to be closed on the 25th of each month. Rules are ONE entry per month (and you cant change your mind wants its submitted),to be taken by the OWNER only and NO photo shopping. Entries must include a clio v6 somewhere. Open to both forum users and club members.
2. Final List of Entries with photo's and a poll at the top of the page. This would be locked immediately and only casting can occur. Voting will take place from the 25th to the last day of that month. Both forum users and club members can cast ONE vote only.
3. Winning Picture of the Month. To be listed on the 1st day of the following month. Winner will be sent a cliov6.net sticker (for example) and hold the crown of the picture of the month winner.
Also possibly have it stickied in its own seperate section called Photo of the Month??
What does everyone reckon?? James/Andy??
