Homologation of Trophy V6 - role cage

Hi all, just wondering if anyone is aware of any homologation number for the FIA for the role cages in the V6 Trophy. I've searched their data base but no luck. I am acquiring a V6 Trophy and just want to get it passed by our local confederation of motorsport in Australia. I've contacted them and they have said to contact the factory otherwise they have to do CAD modelling of the role cage etc, which sounds ridiculous and not cheap either.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andrew

The factory do state they meet FIA standards, but they were not FIA homologated from the factory, one of the benefits of a single make race series is less regulation to meet.

The cage however was FFSA homologated (French Federation of motorsport), homologation number 403.

Some photos of the FFSA documentation courtesy of Russel Etherington who owned the Atalanta Motorsport car which competed in the British GT championship.

Hope that helps!

Those documents look like they’ve been hiding in someone’s pocket and accidentally been through the wash!

Great find Duncan!

I’ll have a bacon roll Simon...

The ffsa papers bit like the old rac scrutineering log books as Duncan says it's a one make series so OK for that and hilclimbs etc try searching v6 trophy arceau might have more hits.

Thanks all for your replies and in particular Duncan. It should be roll cage not role cage. My bad.

I'll review the attached documents and see how we go with our confederation of motorsport. Thanks

Andrew, are you bringing in a V6 Trophy from overseas or rehoming Craig’s car (Adelaide)?

Which state are you based in?

I’m just curious and would love to see one on the track if you’re based in Victoria.
