Hi guys,

Picked up my car last night and found at around 100mph the car felt, slightly twitchy like it wanted to wander off in a slightly different direction. Now it's a while since i'd given a car a good run so it could be me being paranoid but I thought i'd ask to see if it's a common thing?

I have KW adjustable coilovers fitted and set up. The ride is very soft comapred to my last few cars which were allsetup for drift/track so they were alot more harsh, hence why I think I might just need to get used to the more comfortable, softer ride.

Any thought?

Get the geometry checked but they all suffer front end lift which makes them wander around at speed.

If you felt like it was the rear that was loose again geo check first and also check subframe mounting bolts.

It may also be worth checking the KW settings - did you lower the ride height dramatically? If you did have you got the front riding higher than the rear because that would be a bad idea and contribute more front end lift.

I didn't fit them. They were fitted by K-Tec Racing a while ago. After driving today it doesn't feel so bad at all. If they suffer from front end (makes sense now) then i'm guessing that's all it is. Thanks :)

Mine handled lovley but then I changed the rear tyres, same make and everything, and the car handled like you say and was very wandering on the rear...I think it's down to tyre pressures cos that was all that could of changed.

Haven't had a chance to play with them yet though.

That was on my list too check. I know it's probably in the book somewhere but I didn't get one with the car, so what's the recommended pressures f +r?

Was it a windy night? ;)

Didn't think it was which is what confused me. May have been tho.
