Excellent job Mr Mossy!! Was it a bit of a job to get then out and re-fit them? What did you use to clean them!?

Shaun

Yeah quite easy to remove mate: 3 big torq screws, cargo net screws, side plastic panel and bottom plastic sill panel all removed.

Just remember to unroll and clip the belt's up before you start removing as the belts dont unroll once removed.

Washed with bucket full combo of washing up liquid, oven degreaser, bleach etc, anything i could get my hand's on. LOL

Soaked them for an hour and then gave em a scrub with a scourer :approve: .......... and hung out to dry :D

Seat belts ...

Thought about this with mine but was worried that any cleaning agent may impact the fibre strength of the belt once cleaned [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Interesting point Martin. When I was cleaning up my old Scenic, ready for sale, we pulled out the silver belts and jet washed them off with suprising success.. and they were totally minging before!! Didnt remove the whole belt mechanism though, just extended it as far as possible.. closed the door.. and and gave the a good seeing to with the lance. I'd cerainly want to un-wind the whole thing on the V6 as Mossy has done! Proper job!!
