hi can anybody help only had the car a week just took her out noticed she wasnt running right saw a warning light looked in the book it sayes warning light for monitoring exhaust gas it says take her to renault as soon as possible she is miss fireing could it be a coil gone down :(
 
Hi what a helpfull lot you are top site got the AA out today one coil down one playing up hopefully comeing back tomorow monday to fix it still got warenty so got to use genuine parts for now takeing her to europe soon 2000 mile round trip whats renault assistance like over there anybody had any experience :s

Do yourself a favour, go to a Peugeot dealer and pick up a spare coil (half price of renault, same part though) and keep it in your car with a 1/4" ratchet set, this will help you get going yourself or the AA will be able to get you going there and then. Alternatively invest in Trophy coils.

Also, if you haven't already done so, please update the coil failure register, it might help us all out in the long run. And if you get 5 mins spare, call renault UK to complain about the coil failure, maybe one day they will take some notice and agree to change full coil sets.
