Does anyone on here know how to remove the Heater Control Unit from the dash? This is the small panel at the bottom of the dash which has the 3 turn knobs on it and the three buttons underneath (heated rear screen/recirc/A/C). I have had a look on Knowledge and am not sure whether to take out the dash(which seems a bit severe to me). There are two torx screws underneath which I have unscrewed and the panel still seems locked in somehow? I know that on two of the knbs there are cables attached at the rear which control the vent flaps and hot/cold in the car....so Im thinking that maybe I have to disconnect these first?
Anyway, the blower know only works 4 (max) and not 1-3 so I have bought a recon unit and hoping that will fix it.
