Head light bulbs

Hello,,, Has any one got any suggestions on headlight bulb upgrades on the mk 1 vee. I am looking for a bright white/ blueish colour bulb . They vary so much just wondered what others have gone for. Is there a xenon kit i could use to change them?

I've just ordered a set of xenons for my vee. Technically I don't think it will pass an MOT with them, but I don't know of anyone being pulled up on it. Apparantely due to the projector style headlights they suit xenons very well and so look oem.

Something like these are ideal:
HIDs

The higher the 'K' number the more blue they are, ph2 vees are 4300K, I've gone for 6000K just for a little more blue (that pic is 8000K so a lot more blue!)

Thanks for the info... i have read the info james and it seems the kits were quite expencive in 2007 compared with now. Ive just been looking on ebay at these kits (uk based companys only) and it seems they vary in price a fair bit any thing from £30 - £100. Also they all seem to be for the single beam for the dipped light. Does that mean i need two sets per side per bulb, or will i get away with having just the dipped lights changed to hid as they really are going to make that difference with the brightness .???? will also change the side light to a white light rather than that french yellow colour.
